In reply to Daniel J. Thompson's entry. Henry N. Thompson was my grandfather. Carrie, my grandmother, lived with us until her death around 1944. My father was one of the 5 sons. Don't know too much of Henry's parentage. Knew of the name change from LaVie to Thompson. Believe Thompson was his mother's maiden name. Will look in my records to see if I have other information. Believe I have Henry's death certificate.

I am seeking information on Wiley Eli Cornett, my great grandfather who was born in 1881 and died in 1958; according to census records he lived in Smyth County during the census periods of 1910 and 1920. He was also a World War 1 veteran during 1917-1918. Any help would be appreciated!
